Lunara Packaging Design
LUNARA is a premium, eco-conscious skincare and cosmetics brand concept developed using generative AI. Inspired by the phases of the moon and the rhythm of natural cycles, LUNARA brings together ancient beauty rituals and modern science to create a line that feels both timeless and futuristic. The brand emphasizes clean, effective ingredients, sustainable packaging, and an immersive celestial aesthetic that invites users into a dreamy, otherworldly skincare experience.
Each product in the line reflects a unique lunar moment, designed to turn daily routines into rituals of self-care and renewal. From soft foams to glowing serums, every detail—from textures and scents to packaging forms—was thoughtfully designed to feel aligned with both the Earth and the stars.
Programs Used
I used Adobe Photoshop to create the designs. I also utilized PSD mockups to apply my packaging to the items.
Product Line
Full Moon Face Mask – A creamy detox mask packaged in a reusable glass jar.
New Moon Night Cream – A hydrating night cream in a recyclable aluminum tube.
Moon Milk Cleanser – A gentle foaming cleanser housed in a soft lavender pump bottle.
Celestial Glow Serum – A shimmer-infused serum in a frosted glass dropper bottle.
Starlit Lip Balm – Nourishing lip balms available in multiple flavors.
Design Process
1. Brand Ideation & Concept Development
Using generative AI tools, I explored names, taglines, and visual themes that centered around the moon, natural beauty, and ancient rituals. The name “LUNARA” reflects both the lunar muse and an elevated, luxurious feel.
2. Visual Identity Exploration
Mood boards helped establish a palette of deep violets, soft pinks, and muted gold, evoking twilight skies and moonlit landscapes. Typography choices leaned minimal yet elegant, complementing the celestial theme.
3. Product Storytelling & Naming
Using generative AI as a creative collaborator, I developed product names and descriptions rooted in moon phases and celestial imagery. Each name carries a narrative—Full Moon Face Mask suggests detox and renewal, while New Moon Night Cream represents skin restoration and fresh beginnings.
4. Refinement & Presentation
Final mockups were created to visualize the products as a cohesive line. Consistent branding elements, such as lunar symbols and starlit accents, helped unify the range. The result is a modern, magical brand that feels both luxurious and grounded in nature.
